Dans la Savane – Confeere
Born in Lisbon, 1995, I spent all my life in the suburbs of Lisbon. Exploring the streets and the train lines, always with a city landscape around me at all times.

With the pass of the years, while still interested in Arts, in high school, I took Arts and later a Graphic Design course.

As I studied Graphic Design, I started travelling through Europe. This got me a lot of contacts and friendships and in 2015/2016 I got some interest in tattooing after going to Brussels and met people that tattooed, made clothes, and lots of other forms of art.

As soon as I started tattooing, after coming from Brussels to Lisbon, I had the will to start a movement  in my city. As time went by, I started creating my own style, always close to my person and my lifestyle creating that way a unique style of drawings/flashes.

I felt the flashes had a stronger message. They had to be transported into another format. So I made some paintings and sculptures in acrylic paint. Because of my interest in graffiti and in all the city culture, I started painting the interiors of trains. After painting my first piece, I started to think that I could add fabric to the painting instead of just paint. And so I did!

These series of paintings related with train interiors and public transports gave me ideas to expose and manifest these pieces in the train illegally. This culminated into an exhibition on a city train with all the paintings I had with the interiors of the trains. It was a success.

I did some exhibitions and started to develop more a concept and a style that identified me. By 2019 I already had a concept and something to say. I got invited to do an exhibition at Crack Kids Lisbon, in Cais do Sodré, central Lisbon, called Street Culture. That exhibition helped to create a more solid view and vision of the streets and culture based on graffiti, the city and on the trips I made that somehow made a difference in my life.

From that point forward I started wanting to see my pieces in places that would be easy to notice, in the same way it was with graffiti when I began. So I started doing that, I started leaving pieces on the streets. I wanted people to touch, to feel, to have the curiosity of how it was made, what was it for, and who was the person behind. To self-question it.

With the same purpose I spread through the city some of my latest flashes so that people could see live what they normally see in abundance on instagram by any other tattoo artist. Now you can see it not only on instagram but on the streets too!

My goal is, and always will be, to think ahead and always search for new and innovated ways to represent my art.All interventions were in Lisbon, but I will never close a door to do it out of my country.
