Flowerhorn – Sérgio Veterano
Sérgio Veterano, I was born in 1975, in Cascais, Portugal.
My current work has a distinct connection with nature and botanical life, these are my two main inspirations that I combine with with abstract, geometric shapes and patterns. Although I have recently used color in some pieces, most of my work are made with Indian ink. They are images with a hyper-detailed, almost scientific look, the final result expresses a sense of freedom between the real and the imaginary, a little surreal if you prefer to call it that way. Each piece invites you to discover new details, as we approach or step back from the work to better observe the general composition.
