Marta Nunes was born in the spring of 1984, in Lousada. Graduated in Architecture at the University of Beira Interior, it was still during the course that the first works of illustration for publications appeared. Since 2010, she has participated in collective and individual exhibitions, but it was in 2019 that illustration has increasingly been her main activity, with an interest in Portuguese tradition and culture marking some of her works. Traditional expressions, people and crafts are what inspire her most in the construction of narratives, but also everyday objects and the poetics of working days.
